Glasgow University Pre Wedding Shoot

Glasgow University Weddings | Glasgow Wedding Venues

Joanne and Steven’s wedding is taking place at Glasgow University later this year so what better place for the pre wedding shoot than the Uni itself.

For a wedding photographer a pre wedding shoot is a fantastic way for couples and their photographer to build a rapport and more importantly trust. The relationship between the three of you is so important and often underestimated. The couple have made a big commitment, both financially and emotionally and are placing their trust in the photographer to capture the memories that are going to last for generations. It is a responsibility that I take very seriously which is why I will visit every wedding venue regardless of how often I have photographed there to make sure I know the locations inside and out.

Often, the pre wedding shoot is the second time we ever meet after the initial consultation; so it is understandable that everyone may be a little cautious initially.

I was fortunate that this was not the case with Steven and Joanne; I knew Steven’s dad and we had had a really good meeting initially and I knew that we were going to have a relaxed photoshoot.

I am really looking forward to the wedding in April and I am sure that Joanne will look amazing in her dress; they are such a lovely couple and very tactile so they did not need any help from me to get close and have a cuddle!

Here are some images from the pre wedding shoot and here is the link to the blog post from their Glasgow University Wedding.
